Text Box: “What God Is Up To - In Us”       Our Stewardship Committee is holding a Ministry Fair on Sunday, October 14, 2007, from 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  Regular church services and Sunday School will be held at their usual time.  It is not held in place of the worship services!!  Every member, attendee, visitor of all ages is invited!     A Ministry Fair is a gathering of all the ministries and groups that are a part of our church.  It is an opportunity to learn who the groups and committees are and what they do;  the mission of each of them and how it relates to the broader mission of St. Paul Lutheran, the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod, and the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America).  It is an opportunity for education, celebration, fellowship, participation and obligation to our God through the many ministries and services.  It is also an opportunity for each individual to see where he/she can best contribute their time and talents to further the ministry of St. Paul Lutheran.     Each ministry will have a booth which will highlight their on-going ministry (what is being done and what has been done,  how often and how long they meet, etc.).     Food (buffet style - not sit down meal) will be available throughout the Ministry Fair.  Breakfast foods will be served from 7:45 - 10:30 a.m.;  lunch foods will be served until 1:00 p.m.     Special events with prizes will be available for the kids, so bring your family and find out what’s going on at St. Paul’s!
